The Education Committee is responsible for providing up to date and cost effective basic education services to present and future Hausjärvi inhabitants.

Kara
Schools
Schools in, Hikiä, Kara, Monni, Oitti and Ryttylä provide teaching for grades 1-6 (from the age of seven to thirteen). Yläaste in Oitti teaches pupils in grades 7-9 (thirteen to sixteen age group. Lukio in Oitti offers teaching leading to matriculation examination and Vanhatie School in Kirkonkylä caters for special educational needs.
Further education is also available from several colleges within the Riihimäki-Hyvinkää economic area, catering for different skill mix.
